Hi, I’m Rene Gonzalez, a CPA based in Seattle, specializing in tax compliance and consulting for tax-exempt organizations. I enjoy helping nonprofits stay in good standing with the IRS, whether through a clean Form 990 or thoughtful planning that supports their mission.
I’m also an introvert who believes in quiet consistency, clear thinking, and the value of staying calm under pressure. Stoicism has shaped the way I approach both life and work, focusing on what I can control, letting go of what I can’t, and doing my best without needing applause.
Outside work, you’ll usually find me reading fiction (my favorite genre is Magical Realism) and nonfiction (preferably true stories involving financial crimes), traveling with my husband Edward, or recharging at a coffee shop. The photos below are from our travels, capturing some of our favorite moments as we explore new places together.
This site reflects both sides of who I am: professional and personal, whether you’re here for tax tools, credentials, or a glimpse of the person behind the spreadsheets, welcome!
